Danish Christmas 2015 surpasses last year’s Christmas, both when it comes to how many times the Dancard was pulled out of the consumers’ pockets and how much money was spent, according to figures from Nets.
The first 23 days of December traded and transferred Danes for almost 29.6 billion DKK with their credit card. This is an increase of 6.6 percent compared to the same period last year.
A total of 94.8 million payments were made. This is an increase of 7.9 million or nine percent compared to the same period last year.
This year was the day before Christmas Eve the day when most shopping was done.
But number one is the Black Friday in November, which gave new debit record with a total consumption of nearly two billion.
