Clas Ohlson further expands in Norway and opens new stores at Amfi Finnsnes, Voss and Maxi Sandnes. The shops all have planned opening before summer 2016.
At the same time a new product range is announced for the Nordic markets where the higher price level products won’t be available in stock in store.

Last week, Clas Ohlson announced a new store in the Maxi-center of Sandnes. The 800 square meter store has planned opening in May/June with a footprint of approximately 70,000
”The center is centrally located with the access from several neighborhoods. We believe that demand for our concept is great,” said Acting Regional Manager Kjell Helge Lunde.

The other stores have a footprint of approximately 35,000 square meters.

The Finnsnes store will have a sales area of 850 square meters.

”There is a large focus on retail trade in Finnsnes so it is natural for us to establish ourselves where it happens. The commercial area in Finnsnes has over time become Northern Norway’s 3rd largest. Amfi is also a shopping center chain we work closely with on other locations. We’ve got a great space next to the main entrance. We are looking forward to open”, says Regional Manager Cato Lyshaug.

The Voss-store will have a sales area of 1170 square meters.

”We have looked at Voss for several years, but we have not found suitable facilities until now,” says regional manager Pål Eilertsen.

There are now 73 Clas Ohlson stores in Norway

Within the next couple of days, Clas Ohlson will start offering a brand new wallpaper range on the Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish markets and online.Clas Ohlson tapeter.

“We’ve had a popular assortment of paint and accessories suitable for those doing home improvement projects. We are now taking the next step in the development of our range with the launch of wallpaper, where I believe the combination of price, quality, design and availability will become a success factor,” says Eva Berg, Head of Assortment at Clas Ohlson.

Only six out of 36 different patterns will be available in stores. The remaining 30 patterns, with a higher price level, will have a delivery time of a couple of days.
