Some details have been known since summer. Now the Seppä-project next to Prisma in Jyväskylä is taking off.
Skanska has signed a contract with the investor LähiTapiola Group for the construction to start immediately and be completed in September next year.
The contract value is 57 MEUR. The shopping center developed by Skanska Finland will have around 24,000 square meters of rentable space. The extensive selection of shops will concentrate on fashion, sports and leisure. There will also be a wide variety of restaurants available. The underground floor of the two-storey shopping center will contain a parking hall for 600 cars and 110 bicycles.
Construction of the shopping center will begin immediately and the project is expected to be completed in September 2017. Realprojekti handles the leasing.
The new Prisma and the shopping center combines into a single entity. This will bring benefits to both centers such as improved functionality, ease of customer visit, and the fluidity of operations. The car can be parked in the center of both parking spaces and cyclists are offered plenty of bicycle spots.
There is plenty of parking, including a shopping center in a warm garage for about 590. The block has a total of more than 2,200 parking spaces.
