Granngården has recruited Per Sigvardsson as new CEO of Granngården.
This means the garden centre chain will gain top competence in multichannel strategy.
”It will be exciting to work with a company with entirely different products,” says Per Sigvardsson.
Per Sigvardsson comes from electronics chain, Elkjöp/Elgiganten where he was President and COO Nordic for Dixons Carphone.
The change of CEO is a result of the current CEO Peter Hein previously informing the Board that he wishes to leave Granngården for new challenges. He will remain as the company’s CEO until Per Sigvardsson is in position on 1 August.
”I have a very positive impression of Granngården and it will be exciting to work with a company with entirely different products. I think my experience in the Swedish retail strong growth will contribute to Granngården continued development. I also see in front of me that the company needs to continue to work with its positioning and marketing to further grow within its core areas,” says Per Sigvardsson.
Chairman Ulf Mattsson says it’s great to welcome Per Sigvardsson.
