The 66-year old President of Norgesgruppen, Tommy Korneliussen, gets a severance pay of two annual salaries not to be retired in 2015.
”I could have stopped when I was 62, but did not and have not decided when I will retire. But I’m not going to quit this year,” says Tommy Korneliussen to Dagens Naeringsliv.
This year he can earn over 22 million NOK.
Tommy Korneliussen has led Norgesgruppen (Norway Group) for four years.
Last year he had a 9.8 million NOK salary, including bonus and additional benefits. According to DN the severance pay, that comes without bonuses, is 14.7 million and comes in addition to regular salary and any bonus. Five senior employees with bonuses was paid 31.8 million last year.
”We have competitive wages in Norgesgruppen and my severance agreement is adopted by the Board,” Korneliussen tells DN.
