Inkclub, the e-commerce specialist in consumables that started with ink cartridges, announces a change of CEO when Fredrik Brandt is leaving the company.
The Board has already started a recruitment process and expects to have a new CEO in place in the autumn of 2015. Meanwhile, Torbjörn Wik take over as acting president.
Inkclub is one of Europe’s largest e-commerce stores for consumables such as ink cartridges and toner, dust bags, batteries, light bulbs, electronics accessories, office supplies, toiletries and coffee capsules. The business was started in 2000 and has sales of over 500 million SEK, with good profitability.
“Fredrik Brandt has switched Inkclub from being a niche player in a declining market, to broaden the business to take advantage of the opportunities available in e-commerce. Now the company is entering a new phase and we need a different set of skills, says Mats Hultin, Chairman of inkclub.
Torbjörn Wik has previously worked at Inkclub as Marketing manager and has led the work on a new brand platform.
Inkclub is owned by the Ica group.
