Jula is nominated as one of the best Swedish retailers this year.
But Norway is a targeted market. Today Jula opens its 24th store in Norway, at Tiller in Trondheim and its third in the Trøndelag region.
”We are pleased that we now cover the entire region in a good way,” says Karl-Johan Blank, President and owner.
” Tiller was one of the first places we looked at when Jula were established in Norway in 2008. It feels great to finally be in place, since Tiller is a strong trading location in one of Norway’s strongest trade areas. There already exista a Jula at Lade in Trondheim. We are pleased that we now cover the entire region in a good way, says Karl-Johan Blank.
The new store will be approximately 3300 square meters with Julas new concept. The manager, Morten Solberg is locally based and lives just five minutes away from the new workplace.
”Getting help to establish a department store in my own community is something I’ve dreamed about since I started working in Jula on 1 February 2008, as employee number two in Norway,” says Morten Solberg, previously Julas regional manager .
”Tiller is one of the nicest trade areas in Norway, and we have a very good sign location just off the driveway. Julia is all that this major trading area has been lacking,” says Morten Solberg.
There are about 185 000 people living in Trondheim, with Jula at Lade and Jula in Steinkjer Tiller is the third warehouse in Trøndelag region.
During the year Jula plans to open 12 to 14 Jula new units at its three markets in Norway, Sweden and Poland.
