Jula is set to grow on the Swedish market in the autumn.
Three store openings are planned – and now the chain puts more effort into clothes sales.
September 17 is Jula opening the first department store of three – in Norrtälje.
”We are now investing heavily and further strengthens our position in the Swedish market. The other two are Stallsiken in Skövde and Väla in Helsingborg,” says Joachim Frykberg, CEO of Jula AB.
The department store in Norrtälje will be Jula’s 82nd store total and the 44 th in Sweden. The store will be approximately 3000 square meters with the latest concept.
“Finally it’s time for Norrtälje. We have searched for a good location for many years and now it feels just right to open at Norrteljeporten, a new, exciting and expansive retail area that will be developed further with our establishment. It will be a clear destination, “says Karl-Johan Blank, Jula’s CEO and owner.
The store manager Michael Kåsjö says that the new store covers a large area with loyal Jula DIY-customers, both permanent residents and holiday home owners . He also expects to attract a lot of customers from Åland, the Finnish archipelago county 2.5 hours away with boat.
Unique in Norrtälje is that the store will have an expanded clothing department.
“I think it will be a success, we will be able to dress the entire Norrtälje,” said Michael Kåsjö.
