Danish toy giant Lego reports a revenue increase of 13 percent to 28.6 billion DKK for 2014. Net profit surged by 15 percent to 7.1 billion.

All the Lego Group’s market regions experienced double-digit sales growth, while the traditional toy market in most countries experienced low single-digit growth rates.
Lego City, Lego Star Wars and Lego Friends and the products launched in connection with The Lego Movie greatly contributed to the significant sales growth.
