Lindex CEO Ingvar Larsson has been named Manager of the Year in Sweden. The award was announced at a Gala at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm.
Ingvar Larsson is the CEO of Lindex since 2014 and has previously held several senior positions in both the parent company and Lindex Sweden but also within H & M, both in Sweden and internationally.
“I feel a great commitment and passion for my work and I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to work with so many amazing people and leaders who have given me a lot of inspiration and knowledge over the years,” says a happy Ingvar Larsson.
The jury said:
“Combine confident, down to earth and honest – with purposeful, result-oriented and strategic, and you get a good picture of this manager. Described by colleagues as “the oil in the machine” and happiness as the watchwords. Cures his allergy to cutdowns with a program of constant change, customer focus and great heart. ”
Lindex is interviewing him in a press release in which he is asked how he describes himself as a leader.
“I’m optimistic, interested and curious in many areas which I think reflects me as a leader. I have great confidence and expectation on my team and think it is important to work together as a team with clear values as the basis of our work and our decisions. Being responsive and see what motivates and develops employees have always been important to me, and also to be available.
The Gala was held for the 14th consecutive year by the magazine Chef. The Chef Gala highlights and celebrates how managers in different ways excelled in their leadership.
