Denmark’s second largest shopping center, Rosengårdcentret in Odense, is going through the most ambitious renovation in its history.
The total investment volume is of more than 120 million kr.

The centre opened in 1971 and comprises a total leasable area of 100,000 sqm by approximately 160 stores. The redevelopment which is scheduled to be completed in March 2015 has now been started.

A former Kvickly has converted 10,000 sqm rental space for 32 new stores with a focus on international fashion.
The renovation will also include a height adjustable roof and a brand new design concept is introduced with new lounge areas and custom wallpapers for the whole center with motifs inspired by Hans Andersen’s fairy tales.

ECE European Prime Shopping Centre Fund (ECE Fund) entered into the Danish market with the acquisition of Rosengårdcentret
The innovative part of Rosengårdcentret is a response to customer demand for more international fashion chains in the center.
”We have already made leases for several of the new leases, and we have continued to look for new and exciting concepts and brands”, says Christian Wulff, who is responsible for leasing in Rosengårdcentret, to EstateMedia.dk.
