RNB Retail and Brands, with business areas Brothers, Department & Stores och Polarn o Pyret,  reports positive operating income of 17 MSEK, an improvement of 15 million in total compared to the previous year. The second quarter 2014/2015 was the company’s fourth consecutive quarter with better sales than the market.

Sales volume during the quarter for the three concepts amounted to between 14 and 18 percent.

“We will continue to improve our operating results. But the large changes in our most important currency relations mean that the rate of improvement will slow in the second half of calendar year 2015,” says CEO Magnus Håkansson.

Sales in comparable stores increased during the quarter by +15.3 percent.

Net sales amounted to 578 MSEK (502).
For the half year period from September 2014, net sales amounted to 1,087 MSEK (1,096, including divested operation (JC)).
