S Group is stepping up the price war on food in Finland.
Now the lower prices campaign of Prisma hypermarkets is expanded to all 453 S-Market stores.
“Now we can say that “Halpuuttaminen”covers the whole of Finland. This is a great thing as the S-Market chain is Finland’s largest grocery chain, ” says SOK’s CEO Taavi Heikkilä.
The price of food fell from January to February. A main reason was the S Group’s campaign, while Lidl and Kesko also pressured prices.
“We Finns have had difficult times. It seems that it will be harder to find savings and. In such a situation it is important that we make everyday life easier by making a small reduction in food.” says Taavi Heikkilä.
