After Næstved, for the second consecutive week opens DIY chain Silvan a new store in Zealand – this time in Køge.
The store at Gl. Lyngvej 2B in Køge required a new local plan that took into account the traffic conditions, a large new store brings. The intersection of Gl. Lyngvej and the heavy traffic Københavnsvej has previously offered long traffic jams.
“It has been a long process to get all the permits in place, so we are happy that we succeeded. Now we look forward to welcoming our customers welcome”, says Dorte Stillinge, warehouse manager in Silvan Køge.
The new construction market has 2000 inside square meters inside and additional 2,500 square meters of outdoor areas inluding drive-in and combined garden and trægård.
Silvan-chain with its now 43 stores is the largest private do-it-yourself market chain and is a subsidiary of the DT Group.
