Optician chain Smart Eyes recently reported record results for the fiscal year 2014/2015. At the same time the company has recruited Johan Sandberg as new CFO and Niklas Odequist as Product Manager.

Smart Eyes had sales of 520 million SEK in fiscal year 2014/2015 and are in a strong expansion. Group operating profit before depreciation (EBITDA) amounted to 58.8 million, an increase of 155 percent compared with the previous year.
During the year the chain opened 18 new stores and today Smarteyes has 80 stores – 60 in Sweden, nine in Germany and eleven in Denmark.

Product manager Niklas Odequist began on Smarteyes in early September and comes from Hemtex AB and the role of assortment and purchasing manager. Previously, he worked at JC, RNB Retail and Brands with overall responsibility for purchasing and production.
