Clas Ohlson’s sales increased by 3 percent in April to 520 MSEK (505), but with a calendar effect of 6 percent.
In local currencies, sales increased by 8 percent with great numbers in Norway and Finland.
Clas Ohlson says sales in April was positively affected by a calendar effect of about 6 percentage points, due to additional trading days compared with the previous year. Taking that in consideration and with an expanded net store portfolio with seven stores – the adjusted sales figures probably went backwards in April.
At the end of the period, the total number of stores was 205.
Total sales during the fiscal year (May 2015 to April 2016) increased by 4 percent to
7,602 MSEK (7,330). In local currencies, sales increased by 6 percent.
