Mall of Scandinavia now launches more international brands to open special flagship stores next year.

Unibail-Rodamco’s largest new shopping centre development Mall of Scandinavia in Stockholm has today confirmed the introduction of major stores from global brands Superdry, Michael Kors and Starbucks to its growing retail lineup.

Worldwide streetwear fashion label Superdry is to open a 800 sqm flagship store (8,611sqft) at the centre.

Michael Kors is set to open for the first time in a Swedish shopping centre,

Starbucks coffee is also investing heavily in the mall, opening an impressive 250 sq m unit (2,691 sqft) over two levels – another first of its kind in a Swedish shopping centre.

All three brands are choosing to launch flagship stores with 8-metre (>26 feet) high shop fronts at Unibail-Rodamco’s scheme they call ‘Home of the Flagships’.

Mall of Scandinavia opens in Solna, 10 minutes from central Stockholm, autumn 2015.

The total launch includes 250 of the highest quality stores and restaurants, the mall is stated to offer a new retail experience in the region,

We have a great location and very much look forward to opening Starbucks Coffee in Mall of Scandinavia, comments Johan Rosenblom, Country Manager for Starbucks in Sweden.

These international brands will join a lineup of flagship stores at the mall including J.Lindeberg, L’Occitane, Mango and Hugo Boss. Other signed tenants include Gant, Volt, Odd Molly, Thomas Sabo, Claire’s and Pandora.

In Mall of Scandinavia, shops and entertainment outlets will be positioned alongside a variety of restaurants ranging from fresh fast food to high-class restaurants.

SF Bio is set to make its largest ever investment, culminating in Scandinavia’s most modern cinema, totaling 9,000 sq m (96,875 sq ft).
