Working wear company Grolls has taken another step towards the goal of being the largest specialist chain in the Nordics with over a billion SEK turnover.
Now Grolls buy Duunituote OY in Tampere, Finland.
”The acquisition means that we are now in the three largest cities in Finland and covers the strategic triangle between Helsinki, Tampere and Turku, says Karl Jartun, CEO of Grolls.
Duunituote Oy was founded in 2011 by Mervi Liuha and Jarmo Lipponen and the shop is described by Grolls as established and profitable.
”As part of a larger chain specialist, we now have the opportunity to grow faster. With a robust administrative support and a great support organization in the back, we are now even more able than in the past to give personal advice and professional service to our customers. In addition, our range of quality products expands with leading brands such as Björnkläder, Univern and Nytello”, says Mervi Liuha.
Duunituote becomes Grolls fourth store in the country. The chain has 31 a stores in Sweden and one in Tallinn, Estonia.
”This will give us a flying start in Tampere. It’s a well established and profitable store. I see further possibilities to grow in Finland. At the same time we investigate expanding to other countries. It’s a natural development for our international goals”, says Karl Jartun.
