Among the nominees for World Retail Awards is H&M, IKEA and the Swedish Lidl-campaign for Dill restaurant.
But some of the most interesting new retail concepts and online players come from down under and emerging markets.

The World retail awards will have the winners revealed at the World retail congress in Paris next month.
Today the nominees were revealed and in the main categories the world’s retail giants are gathered, among them two Swedish retailers, H&M and Ikea.
There are also several subcategories, such as store design, growth market retailers, pure play online retailers and CSR initiative.
In the category Customer experience of the year is a Swedish campaign for Lidl, the Dill restaurant where a pop up luxury restaurant only served food you can buy in a Lidl store.
