Synsam Finland strengthens its position in Hyvinkää by aquiring Ajan Optiikan from entrepreneur couple Harri Laine and Tiina Gort-Laine.

After the takeover in April-May, Synsam owned opticians’ shops will increase to 38 units operating in Finland. An additional 17 Synsam optician’s are franchise-based.

Synsam Finland’s President and CEO Vesa Mars says the acquisition  supports Synsam’s growth strategy to build a Nordic optician chain in the next few years.

This spring has bought eight stores and opened up a new one.

– Ajan Optiikan has a well-established customer base and skilled personnel and is well suited for the Synsam-chain and provides us with a better chance for growth in Hyvinkää, Vesa Mars says.

”Selling to Synsam was for us the best solution. This ensures the best possible future in a highly competitive situation,” says Harri Laine and Tiina Gort-Laine.
