Täby Centrum, north of Stockholm, was awarded best Nordic shopping center 2015 on Wednesday night by the Nordic Council of Shopping Centers, NCSC.
”Seeing “Retail AS detail” has taken on a new meaning”, said the jury.
The nominees were the national winners from 2014: Bruun’s Galleri in Denmark, Täby Centrum in Sweden and Vestkanten Storsenter in Norway.
Täby, owned by Unibail-Rodamco, recently added a new part to the shopping center that charmed the jury who give points considering availability, content, architecture, management, marketing and economy.
The jury’s winner-motivation said the integration between new and old at the mall has been very successful. The winning mall is characterized by a unique holistic perspective, has a complete range of stores and an obvious and good clustering. Joint training for store staff is creating the trust of customers. And it turns out in the number of visitors, the local penetration and sales.
The award ceremony took place at NCSC’s annual conference in Helsinki.
