The Danish gadget chain Tiger (TGR) is replacing its CEO Christian Mariager after only a year and a half. He will be succeeded by The Body Shop’s director for Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Xavier Vidal.
Chairman Ole Andersen thanks Christian Mariager for the good development during his years in office. According to a press release is the succeeder elected because of his background and personality.
Mariager will now become a professional board member, but will support the new CEO in the coming months.
Tiger has 411 stores in 25 countries.
EQT acquired in 2012, 70 percent of Zebra, the company behind Tiger, from the founder Lennart Lajboschitz.
