Venue Retail Group’s total sales in July 2014 amounted to 75 MEK (72) and sales in comparable units decreased by 9 percent.

Comparable sales of accessories and footwear in Sweden decreased during the same month by 6 percent.
Venue Retail Group operates retail business through two divisions, Accessories (Accent and Morris chains) and footwear (Rizzo). Accessories accounted for approximately 71 percent and footwear for approximately 29 percent of consolidated sales in fiscal year 2012/2013.
”The summer weather in Scandinavia was fantastic in July, but the group’s sales were negatively impacted. Given that, we are satisfied with Accent showed a stable trend, while the Norwegian chain Morris remained tough”, says Susanne Börjesson, CEO of Venue Retail Group.
