The Swedish e-commerce startup Vitvaruexperten.com has chosen its first partner – going for e-commerce platform Litium on Demand.
”It is a platform used by many large e-commerce operators, which is linked to a broad ecosystem of complementary vendors for customer service, comparison sites, and more,” says Vitvaruexperten.com’s CEO Mikael Hagman.
The new specialist shop for appliances online will deliver directly from all major vendors – so called dropshipment.terms. Vitvaruexperten.com has some interesting investors, such as Finnish electronics giant Verkkokauppa.com – and Mikael Hagman is the former Sweden Manager of Media Markt.
”White-goods market is currently dominated by the physical dealer channel while online opportunity is still untapped. Our goal is to establish an e-commerce that raises the bar for smooth deliveries and services through transparency and proactivity in contact with the customer. Appliances are products where clients often lack knowledge. We want to fill that need by having a level of information that is better than anyone else, without compromising our ambition to be the price leader,” says Mikael Hagman
The launch will take place early in 2016, and the Litium implementing project will be done by Authority.
