On Wednesday, the Best Nordic Shopping Center of the Year will be announced.
Täby Centrum can be the first to win the award two years in a row,
Nordic Council of Shopping Centers has its annual meeting in Copenhagen this year and celebrates the eight year in a row that NCSC Nordic Awards is handed out.
The nominated centers are:
- Frederiksberg Centret, Denmark (Danica Pension/Lægernes Pensionskasse)
- Itis Shopping Centre, Finland (Wereldhave)
- Strømmen Storsenter, Norway (Thon Eiendom)
- Täby Centrum, Sweden (Unibail-Rodamco)
All the nominated centers are already national winners. Täby, representing Sweden, won the prize last year and has the chance to win it again. The prize has so far never been awarded a Danish or a Finnish shopping center. The national nominees were made in September 2015, cutting off new projects like Mall of Scandinavia from this years competition.
