Elgiganten Denmark follows Sweden and opens dedicated business centers in Aarhus, Aalborg and Copenhagen.
Right now, the demand for white goods for new construction projects is high.
The start-up of Elgiganten Business reports a demand that has exceeded all expectations. The B2B sales are now extended to include dedicated business centers around Denmark. They will be used to showcase the range with locally based business sellers.
“Instead of sitting in an office in Copenhagen we want to be where our customers are. It provides a proximity, and it allows us to serve customers even better. We have a unique advantage in having Elgiganten department stores throughout the country, and they are the ones we now want to develop and upgrade to also be able to help business customers with advice and sales, ” says Managing. Director Peder Stedal.
Peder Stedal says that the first wave of the new business centers opened in Aalborg, in Texas and in Glostrup.
“We get daily visits from many business customers in the stores, asking if they can shop in Elgiganten to their businesses. We therefore open business centers in selected department stores to better serve business customers in person around the country, ”
Currently there are especially great demands for products in the white goods category, but tablets and smartphones are also among the most popular in the corporate department, according to sales manager for Elgiganten Business, Morten Bøgelund.
“We have enormously many inquiries on goods for particular housing and new construction projects, so it is a big focus for us right now,” he said.”
“Our strength is that we can deliver almost anything. If you have to have smartphones or heavy industrial products – we have it all, and we are known to have low prices, “says sales manager Morten Bøgelund.
