Building and ironware is a fast rising category online.
Swedish B2B-specialist and franchise chain Woody Bygghandel has kept a low profile online so far, but now faces a substantial investment in e-commerce in B2B as a complement to the physical facilities to consolidate its industry position.
”This is a very important investment for Woody Bygghandel as a chain,” says Marketing manager Mikael Tykesson.
Woody Bygghandel is a voluntary chain in construction materials with nearly 7 billion SEK in sales and more than 100 stores with a clear focus on professional customers and picky consumers. The chain is owned by local entrepreneurs who collaborate in areas such as purchasing, marketing, IT, environment and education.
But online has not much happened. Now Woody says the key success factors the for an increasingly competitive market are sharp digital tools and a modern e-commerce platform.
Mikael Tykesson says Woody has chosen Ninetech as a supplier for the digital solution.
”Together we are initiating an investment in CRM and e-commerce which will facilitate the everyday for buiolding professionals,” says Gustav Enocksson, account manager Ninetech.
